Tuesday, October 20th - Regular Club Meeting: The club meeting will start at 6:30.  The demonstrator Steve Martin who will be giving the history of woodturning and demonstrating on the pole lathe.  We will also have a drawing for a free admission for the NC Symposium for members only. Member must be present to be eligible.  The Turner of the Month will be John Morris.


Workshop - Friday Evening October 23rd and Saturday October 24th:  Mark Waninger will be conducting our last workshop of the year and will be joining us from Jamestown Indiana for a Friday evening demo and Saturday classes. The demo will be 6:30 - 9:00 Friday evening and will be on Segmented Turning Simplified.  The Saturday workshop will be 9:00 - 5:00 and there will be there will be two sessions available on coloring your turnings.



NC Greensboro Symposium - November 6th - 8th:  We are supporting Jimmy Clewes in our room. We need people to sign up for the 9 rotations that will take place. We need a camera operator and a person to assist the turner if needed. You will assist Jimmy for a couple of hours. Jimmy Clewes  is pleasure to watch and you can get up close if you volunteer.


November Club Meeting:  We will be having a mini symposium at our regular club meeting in November.  If you have something that you would like to see demonstrated or if you would like to be one of the demonstrators for that event, please let me know.


Art Walk:  November 20th


Christmas Party:  On December 15th, our annual Christmas Party and Dirty Santa exchange will be held at the Bistro on 48 Union Street South, Concord on our regular meeting night.



• Don't forget your ornaments for Hospice; Christmas is right around the corner.

• We can always use raffle items for our monthly meeting.
